This morning, I was at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory to help Nichole @Astro_Ayers to suit up for her underwater spacewalk training. Also, watched the airlock egress part of the run, which was super beneficial since I’m supposed to do exactly the same run next week.

Another cool part of the summer: more @NASA_Astronauts training at the centrifuge at Wright-Patterson AFB to get the feel for a general space launch profile with 3.5-4.5 Gs into your chest. Slightly different from the F-22 centrifuge 9G profile! 😜

Happy National Aviation Day! This time last year I had the honor of flying in the @NASAArtemis fly over (Tail 02). So much time, preparation and effort went into this timeless photo.

Two amazingly deserving human beings!

“Bob and Doug represent the best of our nation.” —@VP Kamala Harris Congratulations to former @NASA_Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley, recipients of the Congressional Space Medal of Honor, presented to them for their bravery in NASA’s @SpaceX Demo-2 mission.

So thrilled to be out here at Kennedy Space Center for tomorrow’s @NASAArtemis launch attempt! Proud to be a part of the NASA team!

Artemis I is ready! Such a cool view 😎

Catching a glimpse of their future ride to the Moon. 👀 While #Artemis I won't have any people on board, future missions will! NASA Astronauts and astronaut candidates took T-38 jets to @NASAKennedy to check out Orion and the rocket on the launch pad.

Happy National Aviation Day! From flying the T-38A as my first assignment in the Air Force (1) to deploying in the F-22 (2) to just yesterday flying over Ellington Field in a NASA T-38N, I will forever cherish the moments in the sky.

Very excited to start our geology training this year! Today we learned about land navigation and exploration techniques to prepare us for our geology training trip. Our staff showed us original Apollo mission moon maps for instruction😀.

I've started the journey to becoming a robotic arm operator in space! I've been taught by so many deeply knowledgeable and passionate instructors to use the robotic work station controllers, and also through an impressive virtual reality system!

I’ve fortunately been on many teams throughout my life. My teammates have always helped me grow physically, mentally, professionally and personally. Celebrating all the opportunities #TitleIX50 provides young people!

Celebrating #TitleIX50 In 2021, 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬, a distinguished graduate of the @AF_Academy was selected by @NASA as 1️⃣ of its 1️⃣0️⃣ new astronaut candidates. #AtThePeak | #MakingHerMark | #FlyFightWin

As we reflect on the 50th anniversary of #TitleIX, we can't help but see its legacy in the @NASAArtemis missions. We can't wait to see the first woman land on the Moon!

50 years ago today, #TitleIX was signed into law. Thanks to Title IX, women like @Astro_Megan were able to pursue careers – STEM – traditionally reserved for men. Through @NASA's Artemis mission, we'll see the first woman land on the moon! @NASA_Johnson #TitleIXat50 #WomenInSTEM

This is exciting news!

Congrats to Axiom Space and Collins Aerospace who were just announced as the creators of future spacesuits for the @Space_Station, #Artemis, and beyond. Advanced spacewalk systems will protect @NASA_Astronauts on the Moon: go.nasa.gov/3x1GJnn

Sometimes we train in the water to fly in the air 🌊 We take water survival so we can fly anywhere in the NASA T-38 jets and be prepared in case of an emergency (like an overwater ejection). Thanks to everyone at NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Lab for making it realistic and thorough!

Congrats @Astro_Sabot and welcome home!!

Welcome home, @Astro_Sabot! Setting the record for longest single NASA spaceflight, Mark Vande Hei spent 355 days off the planet. He contributed to hundreds of science experiments that benefit life on Earth and will help shape future deep space missions: go.nasa.gov/36YZWgj

I am so humbled and excited to be part of NASA’s 23rd Astronaut Candidate class. I can’t wait to share the journey with these amazing people as we learn what human space flight is all about over the next two years of training!
