Very nice work of this author group on the mechanistic basis of power output sustainability based on the torque-cadence relationship. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…

If you are currently watching The Diplomat and think it is excellent, then don't bother with the last episode - the ending is so bad it is silly

What should we do on the podium for ‘remembrance day’? Umm how about a giant bazooka - wtf

This is very good

Donald Trump was elected by Americans to defend the interests of Americans. The question we, as Europeans, must ask ourselves is, are we ready to defend the interests of Europeans?

This GP is just silly now

Somehow managed to hit a wire and lose power to the entire lounge when putting up some shelves! Not been my best few days! 🤦‍♀️

Woken up at 5am by a toddler to find that the dog had diarrhoea in the night - how is your morning going??

This is a very good response

I think notion that diff organ systems operate at diff % max at same "intensity" is a bit of a red herring. It's the muscle metabolic responses driving the rest and so IMO they should take primacy. In lieu of muscle ATP/PCr breakdown/VO2, pulmonary VO2 is our best proxy. (1/n)

There is quite a dichotomy between how ‘tv rights’ are proposed as a way to solve pro cycling’s economic sustainability problem and the public/fan response when the most valuable asset goes to a pay to view station

Between my PhD thesis being accepted and the official ceremony was the start of the academic year @UCTpostgrads told me to graduate that I needed to register and pay a year’s fees but this would be refunded pro rata >9 months and many emails later and I still have no refund!
