another perspective looking south from Welney Suspension Bridge illustrating the immensity of the #ousewashes - currently Englands largest man-made body of fresh water covering approx 18 square km - a bit larger than Rutland (12.58km2) stated as largest reservoir in England!

A quick public service announcement on behalf of our new Avocet parents. Please be sensitive and considerate when you find them on the paths and road. Chicks are only a few days old and can be enjoyed from a distance but scooch past as quickly as possible to continue your walk.
