At headstart the children are given such independence. They get to chose how to use their time wisely. That could be independent play, doing crafts, playing outside, or working on fine motor skills. Love seeing kids use their independence wisely! #teachingcoyotes
Love this article! Seeing leaders from my high school making such a difference makes me happy! #teachingcoyotes
Meg Bennett, Associate Principal of Eden Prairie High School, has many reasons why she chose to be in education, and we're inspired by each of them! 😀 Learn more about her story: direc.to/hJxh What are your favorite memories of Meg's time at EPHS? We'd love to know!

Teaching is not always easy, but we all have a reason we want to do it🥰 #teachingcoyotes
This morning at lunch I heard a teacher say: “I’m really gonna miss this class.” I know some kids are challenging. I know some kids get on your nerves. I get all that. But when I heard our teacher say those words… my heart smiled. That’s all.
With the year ending, my field experience will also be ending. Love spending time with these kids and helping them develop both socially and academically❤️ #teachingcoyotes
How I feel about finals week! Bitter sweet when the year comes to an end. #teachingcoyotes
I loved going to a large high school, but struggled with class size. Being at USD has given me the opportunity to attend smaller sized classes and really engage in my learning! #teachingcoyotes
HOW DO LARGE CLASS SIZES AFFECT CLASSROOMS? •Teachers have less time to support students individually and provide needed immediate feedback •Fewer opportunities to build necessary connections •Fewer enrichment activities •MORE behavior issues

Went to Vermillion HeadStart yesterday, those kids really keep me on my toes! Loved seeing other teachers manage behaviors, defiantly taking notes😉 #teachingcoyotes
As the semester comes to a close I look back at where I began and find myself happier! Thankful that I took a leap of faith and changed my major to Education, I couldn’t be happier! #teachingcoyotes
Stay proud of yourself for your accomplishments🥳 #teachingcoyotes
Today a fourth grade student looked at me and said, “I’m so proud that you are my principal.” Me, too, buddy. Me too!
Love my field experience❤️ #teachingcoyotes
Today I get to go to my field experience and see my students! I am excited to see them! #TeachingCoyotes
We all make mistakes. Hard to remember we don’t need to be perfect all the time! #teachingcoyotes
End the stress of state assessments, there are other, better ways, to assess students learning. #teachingcoyotes
Last year, state assessments were canceled. Number of times our teachers wished they had that data to help inform their instruction this year: 0 Do with that information what you will. 🎙 @mrs_melevans
