A US passport’s not worth much these days—it’ll get you into 20-30 countries, max. Cambodia is one—but Americans must deposit $3K for healthcare—incl. $1,500 for funeral costs. Karma for years of Trump falsely scapegoating migrants as disease carriers. nationalgeographic.com/travel/2020/07…

There’s no job I’m afraid to lose if it requires me to degrade anyone. If that’s a defining issue for a voter, there will be a different candidate. We have a bathroom in my office that anybody is welcome to use, including Representative-elect Sarah McBride.

A frequent tool of dictators is to label political opposition groups as "terrorist groups" and shut them down. This bill - up for a vote this week - would give Trump the power to do just that. It's disastrous. And apparently there are House Democrats CONSIDERING VOTING FOR IT!

⚡️ UPDATE: The bill to let Trump “crush dissent” (HR 9495) will see a floor vote Wednesday. Call your reps.

For those wondering, this isn't the banality of evil. What the future Trump administration has promised is radical evil. The banality of evil is the judgment future generations might cast against this one for not protecting the fundamental rights of all people to exist freely.

When parents only ask about grades and goals, kids infer that achievement comes first. To signal that we value their well-being and character, we should also ask about happiness and kindness: -What made you feel joyful? Sad or worried? -Who did you help? Who helped you?

This quote, alone, would have been enough to disqualify any other candidate for political office in America. And it disqualifies Trump. It is effectively a promise to betray America and our allies in service of our enemies. He's a traitor. It's not an overstatement.

Donald Trump: "Our allies [NATO] are worse than our so-called enemies [Russia]". He is making clear which side he will take once coming into power. And then, what is NATO anymore? The end of the transatlantic alliance looms.

This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant. #Womenwillnotbesilenced #VoteKamala
