As a preschool teacher, I was taught to separate my students into different groups in my room so one group might be shot and another might make it. Preschoolers.
Every parent’s two biggest fears - (1) having to even face these questions, (2) never getting the answers. 💔
... though I know something about saying goodbye to the wounded, lifeless body of a child who was vibrant and alive just hours ago, and the panic that persists long after the outcome is known. The questions, never answered: Did he feel pain? Was he scared?

Continually fascinated that creators can have 19M followers + I still have no clue who they are. Two points to that - (1) the role of influence from creators is very different than celebrities, (2) understanding their audience is WAY more important than follower count
