We have a new library of meteorology books in the atmospheric sciences suite! Thanks to contributions from @ramseylibrary and private donors, our library includes textbooks for all of our atmospheric sciences courses and many classic texts that cover an array of subtopics.

Dr. Miller and the "Mountain Raingers" will begin hikes to remote rain gauges this week. They will download data, clear vegetation, and calibrate the gauges. This supports a long-term field project that compares ground observations with satellite precipitation estimates.

I walked into UNCA two years ago with every intention of keeping to myself. I walked out of my last class yesterday feeling grateful for the unexpected friends I made along the way. I’ll miss this place and these guys!
