Beautiful word. Great reminder in a sometimes divisive world, that unity can be found in the human struggle 🩵.
My new favorite word: sonder. It's the profound awareness that every person you encounter has experienced a lifetime of hopes, fears, loves, and heartaches that you'll never know. Each moment of sonder is a reminder to appreciate how little we truly grasp about others' lives.

@OlleMightyOwls 7th grade SS increased their AMM by NINE points from CBA 1 to 2. AND….Team Lead, Mr. Carroll’s (see $$ chain) students were #1 in the district— two teachers were in the Top 10 district wide. @MsLafon and I are SO PROUD!

Full circle moment today: we were able to hire my former student teacher and her first day of teaching is today. Ms. Nguyen (@AliefISD & @UHouston grad!) is an excellent addition to the @OlleMightyOwls family. Very fulfilling day for me as an educator and leader.

Inspired by @TheJohnCMaxwell Law of the Rubberband, about this time last year I ordered a $9 bag of these. I wear them until they literally “stretch” out. I put them in a ziploc with a card of reflections on how I've been stretched during the season I wore it. #growthartifacts
