Yesterday we enjoyed a concert from the Great Lakes Navy Band here @SpaceCenterHou They're celebrating Houston Navy Week and honored all our Navy Astronauts during their performance, including USMC Colonel Nicole Mann and USN Captain Josh Cassada who are onboard @Space_Station!

This is fascinating! A comprehensive explanation of a feature I could see from @Space_Station, but did not fully understand.

What does our planet look like from space? If you look down on Earth from just 300 miles above the surface, you can see bright swaths of red and green, or yellow and purple light from the upper atmosphere. This is called airglow. Learn more: go.nasa.gov/3uMVo69

Just watched Return to Space documentary, it brought back all the feels! During pandemic we didn’t really get to celebrate the historic achievement of Demo-2 with @AstroBehnken @Astro_Doug @SpaceX @NASA so I’m glad to see this story told.
