As an astronaut, I get to do some pretty cool things. Bedtime stories from the @Space_Station are one of them! A video of me reading Goodnight Moon will air during a 75th anniversary celebration of the book today at 7pm ET: fb.me/e/1DAL1SzFr

So happy to greet our friends of Crew-4, who recently arrived after a spectacular launch and orbital trip in their Crew Dragon.

Before Crew-4 had arrived at @Space_Station, I camped out in the EVA airlock with my blue sleeping bag on the ceiling!

Happy #EarthDay! Sunrises from the @Space_Station are always magical, where Earth looks even more beautiful and precious.

Yesterday there was a spacewalk just outside our window! Crewmates Oleg and Denis continue to add improvements to their MLM module as the sun sets behind them.

Carrying SoFIE (Solid Fuel Ignition and Extinction) for installation in the Lab. SoFIE is a remarkable facility to study flame spread and solid material properties in 0-g, important for improving fire safety both in spacecraft and on Earth.

The Cupola on the @Space_Station provides the broadest view of Earth ever provided from a spacecraft. A chance to spend some time there is a rare and precious opportunity.

How do humans perceive up and down? And can we create our own up and down in space? We tried that by “rock-climbing” across a couple of modules one evening.

Mali’s triangular Lake Faguibine and the Niger River Basin always catches our eye from space. Resembling a surrealist work of art, it is also a stark symbol of the continued drying of the region.

Air bubbles in a spaceship’s water supply can clog up the system. This method of removing them turned out to be quite fun!

Monterrey Mexico, nestled at the base of the Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey. One can see why it attracts rock climbers from all over the world.

The Mississippi’s southern terminus - seen yesterday from snow line to delta.

Canada’s Dextre gave us a friendly good morning wave just outside our window this past Friday, passing by as it continues to maintain and inspect the outside of our home.

Jump into a moment aboard the @Space_Station! This past Tuesday @AstroMarshburn gave us a glimpse into the science around every corner.

Human-made structures that are visible from space: the Osmangazi Bridge spanning the Gulf of Izmit in Turkey is just barely perceptible with the unaided eye from orbit.

Was surprised to see our new neighbor, the STP-H8 antenna, glittering and spinning just outside our window. Using microwave sensors, this antenna collects data from the air-sea interface to improve weather prediction

A window in the newly added Russian module offers this view of the @Space_Station That’s me in the Cupola, taking in the sights of our spectacular planet.

Sun glint often highlights the beauty of ocean waves, eddies, and currents. Off the Eastern Coast of Argentina.

The beautiful cities of Santiago and Rancagua rest against the Andes, with Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western and Southern hemispheres and a favorite of climbers from around the world, in the upper left of this view.

.@astro_matthias and I working on an experiment on @Space_Station 0-g offers up some unique opportunities for how we can work together!
