A ton of historic firsts last week. Our @relativityspace team proved more in this first launch than most companies (and even countries) ever have in their maiden attempt: ✅ first methane fueled rocket in the West to reach space, well over the 100km Karman Line (only other is…

Very cool

I’ve never been more thankful to be an iPhone user. Due to the lack of cell service, EVERYONE in Asheville NC right now on iOS 18 has been able to get messages out and in with the Satellite messaging feature. This is literally saving lives @Apple

Humans for scale! Terran R is optimized for the commercial satellite industry and ideal payload mass and volume

Time to take a look at Terran R’s payload envelope, designed to strike the perfect balance of payload capacity 🤝 launch frequency 🤝 mass-to-orbit efficiency. 📸: fairing with humans for scale 🚶‍

Flight hardware for Terran R is in full swing! More updates over coming weeks, and continued big news 👀 @relativityspace

Clean ! Making rapid progress on the entire Terran R program as we ramp up hardware production across all systems.

👀 Experience Aeon R’s first full-size, fully 3D-printed skirt in action during the latest thrust chamber assembly testing campaign @NASAStennis *sound on

🧘🏻‍♂️✨🧘🏻‍♀️

3 full iterations on Aeon R engine design + test already. Quite different between designs, this means Terran R will be more mature and advanced for reliable reusability and performance by the time it flies in 2026

Making blue fire is fun. But knowing our Aeon R engines will effectively propel Terran R to where it needs to go is more fun. 🚀

Full flight duration, full power.

On the test stand Aeon R fires at 100% power for 180 seconds 🔥 📍 @NASAStennis, R Complex 🚀 180 seconds of hot fire = the max duration for a Terran R first stage flight plus margin. 🔁 Test, learn, iterate, repeat.

Rockets are complex and a lot needs to get done: production/test/launch infrastructure, regulatory, an experienced team, and win customers to prove what you’re building is actually ideal for solving their needs (prove product-market fit). And then, of course, all the rocket…

🔥 @NASAStennis, #AeonR engine: Unleashing 100% power! 268K pounds of thrust full power hot fire in the books.

Thank you Gov Reeves for your time and visit - we are proud to be in NASA Stennis and Mississippi building the future of humanity in space 🚀🌌🇺🇸

Productive meetings today with @RelativitySpace The trip to space starts in Mississippi and they’re a big reason why. Thanks @thetimellis for your continued investment in Stennis and Mississippi! Together, we will continue to do awesome things for America! 🇺🇸

CRAZY achievement at work today… damn! Can’t wait to share ;)

To show the size difference… Aeon R is a biggie 😳

Aeon R vs Aeon 1 context: The flight config of Aeon R will have 11x the thrust, a 3x larger exit diameter and be 1.7x taller than our Aeon 1 engine.
