I am tiny. I like small snacks. I feel happiest and most connected to the world out in nature, under the stars. Also, I make stuff with Starstryder.

Neurodivergent screening tests will be like "do you struggle with wearing socks" and ND people will be like "nope does not describe me, for you see I have a System" and folks that is what the question is getting at

Reading each night after my 10:30pm meds, I usually only make it through a chapter or so before I fall asleep on top of the kindle—which is helping my books last a lot longer. I got to read for an hour and a half today, and accidentally finished my book. I’m conflicted.

This week, I made myself try and be appreciative of my body, be proud of surviving. Re-starting physical therapy after experiencing astronomical levels of emotional stress and COVID has thrown all of my systems into disarray…but I know I’m still in here somewhere. I can find me.

When an article says "some scientists think" then remember this: I, a scientist, once thought I could fit a whole orange in my mouth. I could, it turns out, get it in there, but I hadn't given sufficient thought to the reverse operation.

Beautiful thread. Just beautiful.

Reasons why I love and appreciate @starstryder as both my boss and my friend #8972: She knows my brain is dumb about structure. She has, as a result, figured out how to trick my brain into clambering all over the scaffolding anyway because it’s interesting and fun.

Someone put into words how I am. Like when I first saw this I went, “THIS IS ME!!” Anyone else relating to this or,,, 🥲
