The media reporting of 'NHS managers' is so off. Operational managers on the ground (flow co-ordinators, ward sisters) are VERY different to NHS leadership. But inexplicably managers are all lumped together & routinely disparaged by politicians. It's inaccurate & distortionary

One of the problems with the responses to the Employment Rights Bill is the focus on the threat of litigation. But, the best way of avoiding is not to lawyer up but build the capacity to manage performance properly and resolve problems early - it's actually not too hard 🙂
