Today began the story of a runner became last in the M45 class in this year then he will win the M50 class next year!


This week we had the joint survey of five countries. We invited 16 foreign researchers in Minamisoma. I was the main person in charge of preparation from about 1 years ago. The joint survey was finished successfully! Thanks to everyone's cooperation and effort.

Today, I challenged to run 3min 00sec in 1000m. But this challenge was failure. I stopped 1min 48sec in 600m. Next year, I challenge cut 2min 45sec in 1000m, and I want to achieve champion in Japanese 50s class!

Today, I began use stove and hot-carpet in Fukushima. I lived in Sapporo from 1995 to 2000. Winter season in Sapporo is very warm! Room temperature in Sapporo is very high than main island in Japan. Since I like warm room. I love Sapporo, I want to go to Sapporo!

On the final run of today’s workout, we have carried out free running in 300m with junior high school students. I could run 44.9 sec. Although I can run under 300 or 400m, but I can not run 800m and 1500m such as last week’s races.


I will end my middle distance season. I am going to cancel MDC in Tokyo next month. Because my body condition is very bad such as like result of Japan masters athletes championships. I am going to basic training and long distance training in autumn and winter for the next season.


I had a drink with a lovely junior colleague in Kyoto. When I told her my TOEIC score was 525, she told me to work harder. Reuniting with her was a learning experience for me.

Official record was 2’28.87. In my 1500m race tomorrow, I want to keep 80sec pace every 400m, I want to cut 5’00.


Official results unknown, it took about 2’30 in 800m. It’s my domestic worst record. There are many reasons. My body is very tired. My body weight is over 73kg, very heavy. Quality and quantity of my training were low in the last 1~2 months. I need all kinds of life improvements


Today’s workout (19 Sep) 300x2x2, r2’30, R5’ 60.8 59.8 56.2 57.5 My condition is not good. So the running pace was slow. I’m going to run 800m on Saturday and 1500m on Sunday at All Japan Masters Athletics. My condition is not good.

The web conference has ended. I spoke a lot of English. After the meeting I have a drink. I listen to the radio, it was "Jet stream". It was very nostalgic and I felt like a high school student again.


Today, I have a web meeting with 5 countries at 21:00. Very very anxisious. Japan and South Korea is 21:00, Canada and US is 8:00 and France is 14:00. Before meeting, I am going to run at ground with children lol.


To be a cool 50, I need 2:45 for 1000m. However, a pretty mam pointed out to me that I need to lose weight first.
