No. Fuel Duty is far more progressive than the regressive VAT (the poorer, especially in urban areas, drive less). Taking the freeze off would give some £5 - 8bn. pa. for things we need (health, policing, social care etc.) It's also necessary to cut excessive car use.

So needed. Most of the young people I know in Haringey don’t drive even if they can, they know it’s the daftest way to get round London. This would help give them safe cycling options instead of public transport.
