Three things from last night’s game against New Orleans…
Thunder beat the Pelicans 106-88, improve to 10-2. - Dub: 31-6-7 + 4 steals and 2 blocks - SGA: 29-5-5 + 2 steals and 2 blocks - Dort: 11 (3-5 from 3) - Wiggins: 10-5-3 And Kenrich Williams 7 points and 1 rebound, but a tremendous spark off the bench in the first quarter.
The rim protection from Dub and SGA tonight has been awesome?
OKC came out pretty sluggish… and then Kenrich Williams checked in and completely changed the vibe of the game.

By the way, I’ve always marveled at the fact 44 was SGA’s career-high for so long. It’s an example of his unselfishness and commitment to always playing within the team concept. He could’ve hunted 50 a number of times but just doesn’t. I think it’s cool.
Thunder beat the Clippers 134-128. A night after Chet’s injury, second night of a back to back — incredibly resilient, tough win. - SGA: 45-3-9 (career-high) - Dub: 28-8-6 - Dort: 19 (4-8 from 3) - Joe: 10-3-3 - Wiggins: 10-4-4 - Caruso: 12
Dub’s work on the boards has been massive. Competing like crazy against Zubac.
Isaiah Joe has been so good defensively. Clippers keep looking for him on switches and he is meeting the challenge almost every time.
Lu Dort has been a defensive monster this game. Not just on Harden, but everywhere.
Already you can see the scrappiness and effort of this small ball group from OKC. Competing on the defensive glass and clogging up the paint.
Can’t tell if I feel better or worse about this having been through something similar before. On one hand I know how to approach it, I know what to do, what not to do and how beautiful the other side is. But on the other hand I’ve felt the frustration of this process, and the…
Warriors beat the Thunder 127-116. Thunder outscored Golden State 37-20 in the fourth to make an impressive comeback but fell short. - SGA: 24-5-4 - Dub: 20-3-4 - Dort: 16-6-3 - Wallace: 16 - Mitchell: 12 - Joe: 10 (3-5 from 3)
