Here's Giannis' shot chart for his 59-point night. Dominant at-rim as always. But also keeps knocking down midrange. This season Giannis is making 48.8% of his midrange jumpers from 15+ feet. Best of his career. Antetokounmpo is impossible to stop when the midrange is falling.

I’d like to see the NBA Cup after the Super Bowl and before March Madness. Once the NBA expands: 32 teams single elimination. That’d also require starting the season later, which they absolutely should do. NFL dominates Oct-Dec. So start in December. Not happening but I wish…
It feels weird going from NBA Cup games one night to normal games the next. I’d rather all the tournament games get packed into a more condensed stretch of the schedule, played on consecutive days. I’d bet viewers would be more bought in too. Maybe in the future if it grows.
