The latest UKMO charts have the center of #StormEllen in the Southwest with strongest gusts hitting the South coast between Cork and Waterford. Ellen is one tricky storm to call with a small change in track having a big change in impacts locally but expect damaging gusts!

Met office latest chart, give forecasters the benefit of the doubt on this one, it’s small but packing a punch, some areas will be scalded others will see nothing. If you are coastal and between Rosslare and Galway pay close attention to weather forecasts today. #StormEllen

A final reminder tonight, if you have any friends or family in West cork, Kerry, Clare remind them to keep a very close eye on the weather forecast Wednesday night Thursday morning. #StormEllen #kinsale Oíche Mhaith

Thought I would resurrect an image from about 2007 (I think) of a late November sunset at the Fastnet, I wouldn’t fancy been anywhere near here tomorrow night! #StormEllen listen to weather forecasts!

We've compiled a list of Emergency Numbers that you may need during #StormEllen. csalert.ie/3axLRUy

If you are in West Cork or Kerry (Wednesday night, early hours of Thursday), pay very close attention to the weather forecast, this has potential to make Ophelia look like a breeze. #StormEllen

I was lucky to have this gorgeous guy visit the garden of the holiday cottage I was staying in. After sunset he'd appear and look for peanuts/seeds that the birds hadn't eaten. #roedeer #deer #wildlife #nature #NethyBridge #Cairngorms #Scotland @VisitScotland

On this date we celebrate Madeiran Petrel day. The 10th anniversary of when Ireland's 2nd record was found by myself & @romclaughlin . It was also Cork's record land based count of Wilson's petrels. #begrudgery 😈 Read about it here birdguides.com/articles/brita…
