Starting Jan 1, I'm taking a month off to be present to God, myself, my family, and others. If you need me, you probably have my phone number or email. If not, ask around, someone does.

If a Trinitarian song to add to your playlist to ring in #NYE2024 sounds like your jam, I've got you: open.spotify.com/track/2fjGPPd0…

Have any of you done "Come Thou Long Expected Jesus" to the tune of "Come Ye Sinners, Poor and Needy"? Because it totally works.

Oh yeah ... the tear jerker story of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (originating from Chicago 1938).

Wow, I had no idea about the origin story of Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer! If you aren't familiar with it either, read below: As the holiday season of 1938 came to Chicago, Bob May wasn’t feeling much comfort or joy. A 34-year-old ad writer for Montgomery Ward, May was…

I really love listening to "Joy to the World (Joyful, Joyful)" by Phil Wickham and co., but I have trouble thinking of leading it. Those long gaps between verses do not lend themselves to congregational engagement. I'll probably shorten the gaps and it'll be fine.

I would have loved to have learned this much earlier in life, but glad I did at some point.

I tell my students @fullerseminary 7 things about studying theology with me. This is #5: Theology invites a student on a journey from “first naïveté” —> skepticism —> “second naïveté”: from a childlike faith to a critical faith to a mature childlike faith.wdavidotaylor.com/blog/the-true-…
