Great opportunity for young American lawyers to network with their European colleagues at the European Young Lawyers Association summer conference in beautiful Copenhagen. I’ve been to their conferences and it’s always a good time. ⁦@TheEYBAlinkedin.com/events/eybasum…

“We cannot shift the dial on REDs [the systemic malnourishment of elite women athletes] without educating our coaches’ - @BazMoffat Thank you Baz, @bobbsclay and @maddie_dunn, this is one of the most powerful discussions I’ve heard in a long time

Well this is extraordinary. A presentation from @thewellhq about the systemic malnourishment of elite athletes, particularly women. Doing sport? Not having your period? You may have REDs. This is sport doing harm and must change. #SportRes2024

Barristers don't talk about our failure enough, I didn't even get an interview when I applied for this years ago, but I would apply again in a heartbeat if I could as it is just an amazing opportunity, if you're considering it but doubting you're good enough apply apply apply

Here’s another issue: Would like to have specialist training in grief/trauma for Bar so that when we do speak to victims/families at court that we have some skill sets to drawn upon. And no, being an advocate doesn’t necessarily furnish you with them.

Sam Townend KC warns that it is "not appropriate to trawl through a barrister’s case history to pick out unsympathetic clients or causes that they have acted for & to hold them responsible for the outcome of a given case. That is wholly to misunderstand & misrepresent the role".

Hello Twitter - I’m looking for a room in London, literally *anywhere* with a bed and a shower, from 1st March until beginning of July, for the bar course part 2. I don’t care what it’s like as long as the rent is as low as possible! If anyone knows of anywhere, please DM me x
