1. I saw a dress code guidelines for Advocates issued by the Court of Appeal. Historically & statutorily courts HAVE NO BUSINESS in determining the dress code for Advocates. That function is a MONOPOLY of the @lawsocietykenya Courts determine the dress code for judges only.
2. The Dress code is an ntegral part of the independence of the BAR. Can Rais @NelsonHavi authoritatively restate the position that it undermines the independence of the profession for judges to tell us how to dress in court. @Kenyajudiciary @omwanza @ProfOjiendaTom @WMutunga
