More excellent reporting from @nrarmour Something worth reiterating: the athletes are the only ones who are facing consequences in this and they did nothing wrong. Not a single @gymnastics representative or committee member has been held accountable or provided an apology.
A reminder that the mistakes of FIG officials is the reason why an innocent athlete like @ChilesJordan has faced unprompted racially driven attacks. Seems like she has strong grounds for a lawsuit against FIG. Still waiting on an apology and accountability from @gymnastics…
Hey @gymnastics, when will you be releasing an apology to the athletes for the mistakes your officials made during the women’s floor exercise final? And when/how will these officials be held accountable? The athletes did nothing wrong, yet they are the only ones paying a price.

Athletes, coaches and fans, we must take a stand for all of the athletes involved in this unfortunate situation. So many things went wrong and @gymnastics officials are at fault. They must be held accountable. Athletes should not be punished because of their mistakes.
