The PGPD’s Office of Community First is hosting its second “Spread the Warmth Annual Coat Drive”. The drive will run from October 16, 2023, until November 17, 2023. The goal is to distribute winter coats to elementary school-aged children at chosen schools in the county.

Community bare with me there is a serious incident going in the area of Georgia Ave. & Kennedy St. N.W. with reports of multiple people shot. I'm working on FULL confirmation. Stay with me, I'll have a report soon. At minimum 2 to 3 people shot, maybe more at different areas.
What is going on??? I grew up in PG in the 80’s. Seems like the county and the whole area is regressing to 1980’s levels of shootings
CRITICAL SHOOTING: 7900 Bl. of Glenarden Pkwy. Glenarden, M.D. PGPD and Glenarden PD on scene investigating a shooting with one individual with critical gunshot wound injuries. @DCNewsNow

ANOTHER ARMED CARJACKING: 2600 Bl. of Southern Ave. Hillcrest Hts, M.D. PGPD on scene investigating an armed carjacking with an individual having their GMC Truck unknown model taken by two individuals armed with guns. Possibly the same individuals from Suitland Rd carjacking.
DEATH INVESTIGATION: IAO 14th St. & H St. N.E. MPD on scene with one individual who has been pronounced dead on scene. Information regarding this death is limited. Hopefully more information will be released regarding this incident. @DCNewsNow
