Regarding this statement by RFK Jr, it's both impossible to take it seriously, and quite necessary to take it seriously given the intention to make him head of HHS.

This is utterly insane, if true.

The ability of demagogues & autocrats to surprise, to create a new scandal every day, is their superpower. It diminishes attention to the previous day's transgressions & normalizes them. It slowly numbs the senses, including outrage. Values are the only defense. Hold them dear.

Over the edge. Down the rabbit hole. Completely insane. Would not have believed this possible until right now. Completely independent of politics, this must be seen as unacceptable in 2024.

I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it…

Dishonor to the concept of legal justice in America.

It will be an honor to serve as President Trump’s Attorney General!

This is the kind of student activism we need to see MORE of. @UMich

Incredible. The political science department chair at Tufts University called Rep. Seth Moulton’s office on Friday and said the department would no longer “facilitate internship opportunities for students” with his office. What an outrageous violation of his duty to students.

On target by Maureen Dowd. Identity politics has got to go. This will be ferociously resisted by elites who elevated it to top of their political and cultural agendas. via @NYTOpinion nytimes.com/2024/11/09/opi…

Power would like more power over speech & thought as they see mass communications tech as a threat to that power. This why @thefireorg knows we need to grow our work defending #freespeech in the world of tech. thefire.org/donate

I support student protests, including obviously pro-Palestinian protests. But any Yale students impeding the free movement through campus common spaces of any fellow Yale students should suffer serious sanctions, such as suspension.

Yesterday, on @Yale's campus at Beinecke Plaza, a Jewish student was physically blocked from passing through, repeatedly stopped simply because of his identity. This blatant Jew-hatred has no place anywhere—especially not at a leading university. Credit: Netanel Crispe
