A chilling example of why "exceptions" to abortion bans are unworkable: A pregnant Florida woman with terminal brain cancer was not eligible for an abortion under state law because it "would not have saved her life, only extended it"

For those of you who are wondering why there is a driving/travel ban across most of Erie County, check out this video I just shot in the Town of Cheektowaga off of Walden Avenue. It's REALLY bad. This why we did not want thousands of vehicles trying to get to a football game.

There really ought to be a way for emergency managers to verify that they are real on this website or imposters will cause suffering and death. I am not complaining about my own check mark, I just think during natural disasters it’s essential to know that FEMA is actually FEMA.

The State Police is aware of swatting incidents that have occurred across the state, in which a caller states that there is an active shooter in a school. All of the reports are unfounded. We are working alongside our federal & local partners to investigate the threats.

When you hear well-off suburbs defending "local control" or wealthy neighborhoods blocking new housing, remember that homeowners benefit from housing being scarce and expensive while receiving the largest government housing subsidies via mortgage tax benefits.
