I know as Steelers fans we overreact a lot. But their WR2 just had *checks notes* 0 catches on Sunday. Zero. 8 on the szn. They need another legitimate wide receiver. Every game they play without one, Omar Khan is more to blame. I love what he’s done. But this is a major hole.
This by Tomlin about the lack of George Pickens on the field just won’t ever sit right with me. It’s bad logic. Your offense has ZERO other threats at WR. Any play GP isn’t on the field offensively, you’re hurting yourself. It’s that simple. Less isn’t more. It’s a bad idea.
Man the Steelers just don’t have any play makers on outside. They really don’t. When it’s an obvious passing down.. if George Pickens isn’t open, it’s a dead play. Omar Khan HAS to fix it.
Having the cheapest WR room is not for free. Basically you are playing only with one, Pickens, who has double coverage in every play. You can blame Fields if you want, but he is not the problem. Khan and Tomlin are by not investing a penny in offense. #Steelers
