Extremely disturbing - Clare Daly suggests presence of “single males” in East Wall is a threat to locals. That part of Dublin has been left to ruin by Irish ruling class for decades - long before immigration - when Irish “single men” were banished as emigrants themselves.

Utterly mystified why climate and housing were pushed into the second hour of this - in favour of a round robin on Covid-19 ??? #rteupfront

Under this Government's watch there are 4,500 children living in homelessness. Fine Gael's solution? Open a bank account for them. What address should the thousands of children living in homelessness use for their bank account? #RTEUpfront | #Election24

We are serious about delivering change. 🌹 While other parties engage in a phoney war, Labour is focused on solutions. ⏩️ To end the scandal of child homelessness, to drive down the costs of living in Ireland today, to build a better future together. labour.ie/manifesto/

Every morning, parents and children are forced to duck in and out of traffic to get to school safely. We shouldn't wait for something tragic to happen before making this junction safer.

Seeing as we’re all fighting about buses & I’m a well known giver-outer about them… The way I can now transfer in Fairview to 3 cross city routes at large stop with 4 benches, lighting & real time sign is EXCELLENT and FASTER & EASIER than single routes + walking I used to do.

⚽️ Labour was on the pitch in Drogheda today unveiling a manifesto that’s more than just goals and kick-offs! From fair play in football to tackling the big issues like housing and health our squad is focused on #BuildingBetterTogether. 🎥 @geraldnash | @ivanabacik

Here are a few slides from my presentation at the #EVSummit24 today. Fair play to the organisers for inviting me to address the topic of whether or not we are addicted to cars. Looking at this photo below, I asked how we got to the point where people were doing their weekly shop…

Sicily, today. A reminder that #climate system is indifferent to politics, negotiations & diplomacy. As it heats, this will get worse and worse until societies are overwhelmed & thrown in to a desperate scramble for survival. It’s really that simple.

Have I mentioned before that the house I was kicked out of for ‘renovation’ in 2018 is still vacant… so I am 100% in favour of this.

The only way to grow the number of GPs at scale is to directly employ GPs. @DuncanSmithTD is spot on. What has been happening to GP Care for All in Summerhill is insane- no wonder we have such dysfunction in our health service when Revenue & Dept of Health can’t sort it out.

“The big failure of this government is staffing.” Labour’s @DuncanSmithTD tells @SarahAMcInerney that his party will aim to address a “crisis in recruitment and retention” in the health service if they form part of the government. WATCH: @rtenews | #rtept
