John Harbaugh said, "The only failure in life is not getting back up. When you get knocked down and stay down then you're a failure. But you're never a failure if you get back up." Resilience is your ability to face adversity and move forward. It means grit and adaptability.
As an administrator, I was fortunate enough to figure out that leadership isn't always about evaluating, giving feedback, or critiquing. Sometimes, it's about offering words of encouragement or praise, and other times, it's about saying nothing at all and simply being present.
