The greatest comeback ever. 50 years ago, today.

This is great.

Blue Jays reliever Tim Mayza is serving his punishment for finishing last in their Fantasy Football league Bat Boy for a day with his 4-10 record on the back of the jersey @Stoolbaseball

A legend is calling the game tonight against Wake Forest. I love that the Tar Heel network keeps rotating people to fill in for the late-great Eric Montross (Big Grits). @THANS50

It wasn’t the greatest of circumstances; but I’m so very very happy she came! Love this kid more than words can say… @brynna_kay

I’ll never forget the day I went home in 10th grade and complained to my dad about my coach and playing time. His response “You have three options. Get better, stay where you’re at, or quit. None of those options involve you complaining to me.” Life changing advice.

It was my honor to spend some time with my little bro Jasper High School… on his BIRTHDAY! @Mr_Yocom! I’m proud of his efforts to lead-although some of the students didn’t believe I was really his bother! #DontSettle #HappyBirthday.

Pointing the finger is easy. Expecting things of others is easy. But do our own actions mirror what we expect of other people? Does my own mindset mirror what I ask from students? Change can happen when we begin by looking inside ourselves first. More: thomascmurray.com/speaking

👎🏽🗣️ Disheartened by the growing norm: parents behaving terribly at sporting events. In the past year, I've encountered more disrespect from parents than from student-athletes in my last 7 years as AD. Tonight, a visiting parent went on a vulgar rant, yelling at me just a few…

Now that school's settling in, remember there are NO: SPED kids 504 kids EIP kids RTI kids Tier kids Low kids Those kids This kid or ______ kids. They are ALL kids who can learn high levels. Treat them that way. The second you slap a label on them, you treat them otherwise.

Come on down to the Garden Exchange in Aurora on 9/27!

Yep… 💯

You can’t intervene your way out of a Tier 1 problem.

This does take some additional time from other activities-but it’s totally worth it! Engaging with each student as they enter allows the teacher to evaluate their emotional status - plus, it sets a consistent process to relate with the kiddos! Relationships matter!

The research is in: Greeting students at the door sets a positive tone and can increase engagement *and* reduce disruptive behavior. 🧡 💜 Read more here: edut.to/3QeDm7L

Gotta love me some Frank Martin. Calls it like he sees it!

If you choose a team sport, and your desire for individual success is greater than your desire for your team’s success, your journey will be filled with a lot of frustration. Winning on a team is fueled by everyone’s sacrifice.

Could not agree more with this statement!

Education is relationship centered!

Powerfully accurate perspective! The peace of letting go of a grudge is significant. The trick is to let it go, when your resolution doesn’t impact the grudge. You can only control your actions-#StopTheGrudges #LocateYourJoy #WhenInDoubtBeNice

That last one… it is #truth.

Don’t complain about your job: *You accepted the position *Many others would love your job *You can always do more to make your job and situation better *Other jobs aren’t absent of their own challenges *Complaining is non-productive
