Do you love organelles? Do you want to visit San Diego this December? If so, you should submit an abstract to give a talk in the "Organelle Biogenesis, Turnover, and Quality Control" special interest subgroup at the @ASCBiology meeting, which I'm co-organizing with @LabFriedman!

Immigrant academics in the US, especially from the global South, spend between 1-2 mos every 3 yrs on visa renewal. Even after having an approved petition. That definitely puts us at a disadvantage compared to those who don't have to go through this, & often goes unacknowledged.

Excited to present our latest work at this wonderful conference.

Check out the updated full program for the FASEB Lipid Droplet conference! It's going to be AWWWESOME! Register by July 16 2024 to attend both the Lipid Droplet meeting & the co-located Phospholipid meeting. Lipid extravaganza! 😀 #LipidDroplet #LipidTime events.faseb.org/event/lipid-dr…
