Honestly medical schools should show students examples of an intemized bill from an ER visit/hospital stay to have context on how costly each decision we make is for patients. I just got hit with my ER bill from my lovely visit last month and my jaw actually hit the floor
As an aspiring pediatrician and a human with love and empathy in my heart, I am incredibly moved and devastated by Dr. Guerrero’s testimony. I am begging our legislators to please help us keep our children safe and enact stricter gun laws.
The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns. The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate. Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care. Pharma buys off Congress. No action on drug prices. Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

I know more women than I can can count who’ve had breast implants. When I was a nursing student, I did post-op care for a man who had a penile implant. Remember: straight people get gender affirming surgery and care every day.
