@TRCA_HQ was happy to welcome @MSidhuLiberal to Claireville Conservation Area to meet our seasonal staff funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. This support helps us run the campground, look after the landscape, and take care of visitors to Claireville.

What this means: The Province intends to pave over huge swaths of the green belt, with predictable and serious negative impacts on water, food, traffic, nature and more. Why? To benefit Conservative connected developers and donors, who will make millions at our expense.

While the environmental benefits of creating a buffer of natural green space and farmlands around our burgeoning cities are numerous, including mitigating climate change, some fear the cracks in the Greenbelt are starting to show. torstar.co/htXB50JB5AK

“This prestine land that is protected and taken care by the Maasai has been given to a royal family from Dubai for sport hunting. 8 councilors were arrested yesterday and we couldn't trace them up to now." #Maasai elder People are running in fear. #standwiththeMassai
