There is a push among some orgs, "moderate" legislators, and even trans people to "give up the sports issue" in hopes that will stop hate. I have watched moderates try this in 23 state houses. It doesn't work. There's no amount of give you can offer that stops them from taking.

This is what happens when you cede the messaging on trans people to your opponent. Harris did not even say the word transgender in this campaign. Republicans were obsessed with trans people, spent $215 million. And that money was spent convincing voters that SHE was obsessed.

Washingtonian here. Pretty simple formula: high minimum wage, best OT policy, paid family leave, working family tax credit, expanded childcare, high road employers, top research institutions, diverse industries, focus on trades, and strong labor unions. Just to name a few. 1/8
