Bigger corporate profits account for *over half* of the higher prices people are paying.

My bipartisan BABES Enhancement Act would make it easier for families to fly with breast milk, formula, and pumping supplies—and it’s close to becoming law! I’m hopeful the House will join the Senate and send this bill to @POTUS to sign into law. Here's where things stand👇

On Veterans Day, we recognize and honor the brave Americans who put their lives on the line for our country. Our nation is grateful for their courageous service and sacrifice.

It’s Election Day, America! 🇺🇸 If you haven’t already voted, make sure to head to the polls by the time they close in your state. Visit vote.gov for all the info you need to vote. 🗳️

Electrifying port operations will reduce pollution, modernize our critical infrastructure, and create thousands of jobs. I was proud to support the Inflation Reduction Act, which made this investment in our community possible.

During Diwali, we’re reminded that light triumphs over darkness and good prevails over evil. May all those celebrating enjoy festivities filled with laughter, joy, and prosperity. Happy Diwali!

Even though the election isn’t over yet, the congressional transition is already underway. My office remains hard at work, but some of the services we normally provide will be limited in the coming days. I explain some of the changes you can expect to see 🔽

What a great night celebrating 25 years of the Newport Beach Film Festival! Each year, @nbff showcases so many talented actors, artists, directors, and films, drawing over 50,000 attendees. I’m proud to support the arts through my work in Congress.

Calling all families with fourth-graders 📢 Don’t forget to claim your child’s Every Kid Outdoors pass to get free admission to national parks for the entire year! @OAK_Updates, @JrRangerTigran, and I wrote about our work to expand this program and get more kids outdoors. 👇

If you love visiting our national treasures and agree that everyone should have the ability to enjoy the outdoors, make your voice heard, write @RepKatiePorter and @JrRangerTigran commondreams.org/opinion/congre…

No one should go hungry, especially infants that need nutritious food to grow. Expanding WIC food choices to cover healthier food and diverse diets is good policy—and will help get millions of children in low-income families the nutrition they need.

WIC, a federal food program that provides free groceries to millions of women and children in the U.S., now covers naan, soy milk, teff and more. nyti.ms/4hkMxPk

The Clean Water Act was signed into law 52 years ago today, protecting our right to clean, safe water. Californians can always count on me to hold polluters like Big Oil accountable when they cut corners to line their pockets.

Great news! The @FTC just finalized a new rule to make it as easy for Americans to cancel a subscription as it was to sign up—sometimes with just one click. The Biden-Harris Administration is living up to its promise to protect consumers and save families money.

NEW: The FTC has finalized its “Click to Cancel” rule – which will require companies to make it as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up. Unwanted subscriptions add up for Americans, and our Administration is taking action to save families time and money.

Orange County is lucky to have such a vibrant Hispanic and Latino community. I stopped by @NorthgateGlzMrk’s Mercado Gonzalez, a market in Costa Mesa, to celebrate a beloved California business and enjoy some delicious tamales. #HispanicHeritageMonth

On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the strength of our indigenous communities and reflect on the legacy of injustice and harm brought upon them. Congress must pass the Indigenous Peoples’ Day Act to formally recognize this important holiday.

Wishing our Jewish neighbors in Orange County, and all those observing around the world, an easy fast and a meaningful Yom Kippur. G’mar Chatimah Tovah.
