We're very excited for the @legalcheek awards tomorrow night, where we're nominated in six of the seven categories!

Congratulations to all those with pupillage offers this morning –– particularly those to whom we have made offers! Very excited to be welcoming our new recruits to XXIV both this October and next October.

Fantastic to see three members of Chambers –– Daniel Warents, Graham Virgo KC (Hon.), and Niamh Davis ––before the Supreme Court today in El-Husseiny v Invest Bank! The case is set to be a landmark decision on s. 423 of the Insolvency Act 1986. supremecourt.uk/watch/uksc-202…

We’ve had a fantastic couple of days getting to know our pupillage candidates at our first-round interviews. Results will be sent out as soon as we can, and we’re looking forward to seeing those candidates advancing to our final assessment day on Saturday!

Just less than an hour left to apply for pupillage. Good luck to all applicants –– we're looking forward to seeing many of you as our assessment process gets underway over the next couple of weeks!

Welcome to Prof. Graham Virgo KC (Hon.) as a fully practising member of Chambers, after 25 years of being an academic member!

XXIV Old Buildings is delighted to announce that Professor Graham Virgo KC (Hon) is now a member of Chambers.  Graham has had a long association with Chambers and has been an academic member since 1998.

We’re here to answer all your questions about pupillage and the commercial chancery Bar at #PupillageFair23 today — come and say hello!

We had a great time catching up with colleagues at our regular XXIV Old Buildings Aviation Breakfast this morning. Aviation disputes are a key practice area for us, which pupils and junior tenants get involved in right from the beginning of their time in chambers ✈️

If you have had bad news at the end of your pupillage you might want to think about a third six with @xxivbarristers: xxiv.co.uk/xxiv-old-build… We have lots of work for our junior tenants and are always ‘on the look out’ for new talent.

Today @xxivbarristers is marking #InternationalWomensDay2023. The opportunities for women at the Bar are unrecognisably greater than in the past, but we continue to think about what more we can do to ensure women are as fully included as men.

Thank you to everyone who has put such effort into applications to join @xxivbarristers Outcome to be disclosed in May!

Final round pupillage assessment today at @XXIVpupillage — with fitting decor! Looking forward to meeting all the candidates.
