We are excited to welcome Ben Mansfeld to Biology as our newest Assistant Professor!

Super stoked to be joining @WUSTLBio as an Assistant Professor! The lab will be focused on defense optimization in non-model plants - exploring the intersection of defense with circadian rhythm, ontogeny & development. Lots of genomes, transcriptomics, networks, & killing plants!

Congratulations to all of Biology's NSF-GRF recipients: @Cheyanderthal (grad student), Lauren Reena (undergrad), Raymond Castillo (incoming EEPB grad student), Ella Ludwig (alum), @ReuJackie (alum), Suyash Ray (alum) & @SavannahFuqua (alum).

Congratulations to graduate student Cheyenne Anderson on being awarded an NSF GRF!

So honored to be awarded an @NSF GRF!!! 😁 Excited to carry out my work on impacts of heat stress on plants & pathogens w/ @RachelPenczy @WUSTLBio w/ the aid of this fellowship! 🌱
