🇩🇪 Today is an extremely bad day for #Democracy. The government parties + CDU/CSU voted in #Bundestag for an electoral threshold for #European elections. They destroy several million votes and bypass decisions from the Constitutional Court.

Heute ist ein extrem schlechter Tag für die #Demokratie. Im #Bundestag stimmten soeben Ampel & Union für eine #Sperrklausel für #Europawahlen. Sie vernichten damit mehrere Millionen Stimmen und umgehen Entscheidungen vom Verfassungsgericht. Gelten wird sie erst ab 2029. (1/2)

We may one day win government. In the meantime voting Greens 1 and Labor 2 means that in most electorates your WHOLE vote is distributed to Labor but in addition it tells Labor that you accept Green values and ideas.
