A vaccine has essentially eliminated a dreadful form of cancer. Extraordinary.

Scotland has detected no cases of cervical cancer in women born between 1988-1996 who were fully vaccinated against HPV between the ages of 12 and 13. statnews.com/2024/01/25/hpv…

#matsafety2024 “to improve outcomes and close disparities we need to be research active and ensure pregnant women are represented in research”. Absolutely agree, recalling data from last year which showed money spent on maternity research was lowest across all specialities.

What a stark statistic @TeamCMidO research conference. For every £1 spent in maternity, research is funded 1p. The lowest across the speciality’s. Considering the importance pregnancy has on the family and on generational health, we need to surely change this.
