At least $48 million to remove bike lanes. Resulting in a net negative $100 million loss to active mobility, as that $48 million could have been invested on safety improvements elsewhere. Cities for cars cannot work. cbc.ca/news/canada/to…

Don't blame the sun. Don't blame the snow. Don't blame dark clothes, people wearing hoodies nor headphones. To fix danger on our roads, address actual root causes and stop blaming victims. It becomes obvious when you are not driving. cbc.ca/player/play/vi…

“If you take out the food delivery bikes, there’s not many (bikes).” Here is Tory saying an entire class of workers - the young men who commute from Brampton to bring Rosedale its Uber Eats - don’t count. Clearly, they should cycle in mixed traffic and risk dying.

Former Toronto Mayor John Tory joined Moore in the Morning to discuss the bike lanes that were installed during his terms and shares where he thinks they work and where they don't.

Safety is illegal now where it matters the most on arterials, so instead users will be targeted and fined for hopping onto sidewalks where they legitimately fear death. A lose lose situation for everyone. toronto.citynews.ca/2024/11/04/tor…

It's difficult to get your head around how backwards we are in Canada. Bike lanes, not cities flooded with cars & catastrophic amounts of space dedicated for cars, are deemed to be so problematic legislation is introduced to remove them

Bike lanes belong on secondary streets, not clogging traffic on main roads. It’s time to get you moving again.

The push back against a crazy, motor-centric law begins...

"Let’s be real, every New Yorker jaywalks" As do we, as do drivers (crossing to parked car), as do children when they go trick or treating. We need to legalise walking because it is normal required human activity. Humans have rights, cars do not apnews.com/article/jaywal…

I am concerned by #Vancouver @ParksBoard's plan to evict residents of #CRABPark on November 7, 2024. I urge them to rescind this decision and to put in policies and practices that respect and protect the human rights of people experiencing homelessness. (1/5)

And we are here talking about bike lanes...as if this mayhem isn't a daily occurrence.

#BREAKING: A pickup truck crashes into a TTC bus at high speed at Yonge/Finch leaving 8 people injured including driver of pickup who ran off but was arrested. The 7 people hurt on the bus include the bus driver. None of the injuries are life threatening.

If literally everything is going wrong & you haven't got a clue, blame cyclists. Proven distraction.

Bike lanes on major streets are causing gridlock and impacting local businesses. That’s why the Ontario PC Party has tabled the Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act.

@RoadSafetyNGOs #MobilitySnapshots campaign is more than just data & statistics. It’s a call to action, a plea for us to acknowledge the human cost of unsafe roads, particularly dangerous intersections. We can raise awareness #CommittoAct #Safetyisourright

Painful trying to unpack the spatial mathematics and physics of supporting hundreds of thousands of single occupant drivers in a city to Conservative "thinkers". Visit a real city which supports the movement & housing of people, not the movement of cars blogto.com/city/2024/10/t…

#Winnpeg pedestrian fatalities increasing annually. @Ahmed_Shalaby: "this can, in part, be attributed to more people using active transportation, but infrastructure not accommodating for it" globalnews.ca/news/10831379/…
