Is this the future of democracy? @Antolw and @landemore convene experts to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first modern citizens' assembly and discuss what we've learned since then. bit.ly/3TVNuTV @mckayspencer @GiuliaOskian @Lkrashinsky

Thanks, Isa! That was fun. Home field advantage is a real thing!!

Fantastic research presentation by @Lkrashinsky today in the @PUPolitics comparative politics graduate research seminar. A fascinating comparison of how racial and national identity affect voting behavior across borders. Full house, too! 🇨🇦🇺🇸🐅

Not sure who this guy is... definitely avoid!

In his dissertation, @Lkrashinsky examines white working-class voting in Canada and the United States. A wide-ranging and multi-method study that employs surveys, experiments, and in-depth interviews.

Just published! New article @ConversationCA with @blakelw and Will Roelofs . Are the 'kids in short pants' alright? We find that the majority of young people who are interested in working as political staffers in Canada are motivated by serving the public interest.

"Aspiring political staffers are motivated by a consistent passion for public service and contributing to a better Canada. Maybe the `kids in short pants' are alright after all?" w/ Will Roelofs and @Lkrashinsky in @ConversationCA theconversation.com/the-kids-are-a…
