I like @KirkCousins8 … But I am disappointed in @KirkCousins8 … Getting guaranteed $ for 9 years straight and then it’s looking like he’ll leave the @Vikings 2 yr./ $76 million deal on the table because he wants north of $40 million/yr? There is unfinished business. #comeback

I am not a @UW_Football fan… but this has been a disgusting display of officiating by the @NCAA ! @UMichFootball has gotten away with so much tonight that this a tainted win! How can the @NCAA can be proud of the job the @ACCFootball officials have done tonight?

It’s not just seeing suffering that's painful. It’s hurting for others while feeling unable to help. There’s a term for that helplessness: empathic distress. Over time, it leads to burnout and withdrawal. If you're overwhelmed and exhausted by a heavy heart, you are not alone.

Love your kid. No matter how you differ. Love your kid. Tell them you do. Show them you do. Make sure they know, even when you don’t love their choices, even when they don’t share your convictions, that you love them and you are there for them. Right there for them.

When we're walking through circumstances that seem unfair or hurtful beyond what we can bear, we must allow God to shift our perspective with truth. In the midst of your wilderness, let God whisper His truth that He is good. He is good to you. And He is good at being God.

The words we say about others speak volumes about our own sense of stability. The truly secure person looks to authentically build others up, not to critically tear them down.
