A1: I believe Spanish, Arabic and Albanian. #memspachat

A1: we are starting Monday (hybrid). As we reviewed our Return to Learn plan, all staff members had multiple opportunities to give feedback and ask questions. It took ALL of us to refine our school plan. #memspachat

Hi! Julie Mytych, elementary principal. Happy to relax and learn with you for a bit. #MEMSPAchat

A2: my same experience! #memspachat

This post is unavailable.

A1: Our jobs are often mentally and emotionally challenging. I check in to continue to be inspired by this amazing group of educators. #MEMSPAchat

Question 1: Being intentional is critical when we are looking for opportunities and moments to grow. As we begin this chat, share why you have shown up for the #opportunity to collaborate and learn with our amazing PLN? #MEMSPAchat

Hello! Julie checking in as principal for WWCSD! #memspachat

A7: Shanna’s response is perfect in my mind. The point of creating opportunities for those conversations is key. Hearing being anti-racist and not just saying “I am not racist” inspired my actions #MEMSPAchat

A7: It is going to be essential for me to continue to educate myself, but I also need to be willing to lead and create opportunities for courageous conversations around race. I also commit to calling out racism and working to overturn systemic racism. #MEMSPAchat

A6: To be completely vulnerable, my biggest obstacle is the random, extreme anxiety that will come over me this year. I’m working through it… I know there will be other obstacles… And I will persevere #memspachat

A5: For 2021, I am renewing my strong belief in connection and relationship building. We all need it so badly right now. #memspachat

A4: Because we have been virtual all year, I’ve really tried to be visible and pop into classrooms. I haven’t been as good at it as I’d hoped to be. #memspachat

A3: Right away, I stepped back and purposely focused on the body language (slight or obvious) via in person/virtual meetings. It allowed me to change direction and refocus quickly to best meet the needs of my staff #memspachat

A2: own self care-remembering to walk away and take small frequent breaks (Julie from Wayne Westland checking in late) #memspachat

Hi! Julie from Canton. Our PT conferences just ended! #memspachat

A7: 13 yrs ago, my hope was to have a common language that built a positive school culture. I started talking about this approach, several amazing staff members tried it, it spread and with the support of the Walker staff, it’s going strong! #memspachat

Q7: @kristiande (Co-Founder and CEO @brillpro, Educator, Author, Innovator of Prof. Learning, Facilitator of Radical Hope, Learner, & more...) challengers #MEMSPAchat with, "Hope + action = fulfillment. Describe a situation where this was the case for you as a leader."

Q6: That quote resonated with me earlier today. I stay positive by hanging onto hope and looking for the little positive things all around me..all the time without fail. It’s the only way that I can hang on right now. #MEMSPAchat

Q3: I’ve always lived my life and lead with positivity and optimism. It’s guided me through many life experiences. #MEMSPAchat

A2: While in person, Every day, I invited Ss to each lunch with me. The small group or 1:1 time had a huge positive impact. Now I’m thinking that I need to do this virtually at lunch! #MEMSPAchat

A1: start my day with joy by talking with Walker staff before I log on and end my day with joy? Hmm? Leaving my desk organized so I can have a calm morning. #MEMSPAchat (an end of the day habit is washing my hands and leaving the work day behind)
