Over 60 lawmakers are calling on Biden to use his clemency powers to help "the elderly and chronically ill, those on death row, people with unjustified sentencing disparities, and women who were punished for defending themselves against their abusers.” theappeal.org/biden-commutat…
He’s not wrong…
How did the lives get lost, Dean? @SenSanders is doing something to stop the mass murder of tens of thousands of people with U.S. dollars. That is the morally correct thing to do. This tweet is what's shameful.
We can agree the loss of life in Gaza is horrifying & Netanyahu is a stain on Israel, but this is shameful @SenSanders Should we also block the sale of weapons to Ukraine and other allies attacked by enemies trying to wipe them off the map?

NEW FROM ME: The government will do things that hurt people. But knowing exactly what it is doing — & therefore who’s most at risk — is at the foundation of fighting against it. Anything else is doing Trump’s job for him. Here’s a start. nytimes.com/2024/11/21/opi…
Nancy Mace's former Comms Director, everyone.
I know we're all supposed to be galaxy-brained knowers of how the most crucial voters respond to every single message now, but I'm not. you guys can figure that out. I like this message because it's sincere and true.
Rep. @AOC on Rep. Mace's transgender bathroom measure: "They're doing this so that Nancy Mace can ... fundraise off an email. They're not doing this to protect people. They're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kinds. And everybody should reject it. It's gross."
I’ve seen a lot of people who are very poorly informed realizing what they voted for online. There also seem to be people who aren’t exactly lying but don’t have good understanding of their dissatisfaction but feel seen by Trump’s claims that everything is terrible
It's also just fundamentally illogical to tell me these issues mattered so much that people voted for someone who was WORSE on these issues. Either they're stupid or they're lying.

I’m not here to fight about bathrooms. I’m here to fight for Delawareans and to bring down costs facing families.
The last time Republicans had control of Congress and the White House, they raised taxes on millions of Californians by capping the state and local tax deduction—which hurts first-time homebuyers. We should be building up the middle class, not placing limits on its growth.
Mad respect for my colleague, Sarah.

A supermajority of the battery workers at a Kentucky plant have signed union authorization cards and are launching public campaign to join the @UAW today. The plant is owned by BlueOval SK, a joint venture of Ford and Korean company SK On.
Lol. She’s the doppelgänger of the donkey from Shrek. Hope you know who I’m talking about. 😌
Trying to get my parents off the MSNBC train myself 😮💨
We just got out of a fantastic meeting with @SpeakerPelosi who has been a fantastic ally for the hostage families.
We have a really serious problem in our politics. Democrats feel the need to performative pat Republicans on the back while Republicans simultaneously march the country into freak show fascism.
The woman who served as Director of Operations on John Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign speaks out about Fetterman’s willingness to vote to confirm Dr. Oz (Fetterman’s opponent in that race) if Oz says he will protect and preserve Medicare and Medicaid.
Christine Quinn, pres & CEO of Win (& former City Council speaker), discusses new data that show 1 in 8 NYC public school children does not have permanent housing. Listen: wnyc.org/story/record-n…
Every day Americans go to work with people who have life journeys different than their own and engage with them respectfully, I hope members of Congress can muster that same kindness.
the longer y'all let this shit go w/out mounting a principled defense of trans rights the worse it's gonna get. if you don't see the last four years of dem abandonment through this lens you're either bought or a stupid motherfucker. at least sarah is getting something out of it.
