We found MCAV, SSID and PAST can grow as quickly as their tropical conspecifics, but they rarely maintain them due to high partial mortality meaning colonies only reach a third of their potential size and limiting their recovery potential

Our Coral Nursery Assistant Kristina Agee is fragging a M. cavernosa coral for the first time! Kristina started as a volunteer in the lab last year while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at NSU and has stayed with us all this time to help us maintain our coral tanks!
