Hot take: I love how my body is aging. Every grey hair. Every wrinkle. Every cellulite dimple. I'm really proud that my body has kept up with just about everything I've put my mind to. Normalize aging body self love. It's a lot more fun here. #SelfLove #aging

It was wonderful to have @Reuters join me and feature my #shark research!! @UCDavisWater @UCDavisGrad @ucdavis

Fishing in this location tomorrow... send me threshy vibes!!

The San Francisco Bay Study captured this Thresher Shark today in Central Bay. Thresher sharks are found in the Eastern Pacific Ocean from Goose Bay, British Columbia, south to Baja California. This is the 3rd individual caught in this study since 1980.

This was yesterday off #LaJolla, the morning after the remnants of #HuricaneHilary passed through #SanDiego. Clearly, the leopard #sharks were unfazed and the water was surprisingly clear. See the white flashes? Those are sharks rolling over! @PLNU @Scripps_Ocean #sharkscience

This stunning, extra spotty leopard #shark was seen off #LaJolla Shores Beach this weekend. This unusual color morph deviates from the typical pattern of horizontal saddles with spots. Video by Peter Demman (Instagram: pdemman). @PLNU @Scripps_Ocean #sharkscience #SanDiego

Hey tweeps! Is there anybody in the bay area that might be willing to donate a few PFD's (life jackets) for #shark #research? Let me know!

This looooong nudie is practically an entire train all by itself. I'm pretty sure I've seen this species many times before, but never one this long.

Here, 180 leopard #sharks have been tracked using #computervision from #drone footage captured off #SanDiego (that's a harbor seal that spooks a few of the sharks). Next three tweets show tracking results. @PLNU @Scripps_Ocean #sharkscience #SharkWeek #Tech4Wildlife (1/4)
