Now that I’ve been closer to some local politics, the persistence and tenacity I see in people who try to get anything done in government is freakin crazy. There’s a lot of idiots in government, but hot dog there’s a whole lot of thoughtful, hard-working, persistent people.

Honestly, I think AEC might be one of the easiest industries to build a bootstrapped startup in. -Low competition with the more mainstream tech scene (speed isn't top priority) -Slow adoption but ruthless brand loyalty which acts as a moat -Massive market
