GM world. Creatures fed, coffee brewed. Ongoing dramatic situations are, ongoing. Being held responsible for things I was never told isn’t new to me - but I could really do with less of it. This family loves to compartmentalize. Coffee up. Databases don’t build themselves. 🫶☕️

This morning… I can’t believe that I have to say this… I ran out of… Coffee. I know, I know. I’d like to humbly apologize for this lack of good judgment & state for the record that it will not impact the rest of the day. Thank you for your time. ☕️

Picked up one of these contraptions last night. Dad's method of photo storage was slides & slide trays. Many, many, many slide trays. I hope to be spending a great deal of time with my new friend Kodie. I hope it stacks up. There's 50 years of family adventures on 35mm.

GM world. Time to get after it. ☕️🫶

What a week. Research, revise, react, rebuild, reload, re-rebuild, respond, relay, re-revise… Enough to make one go Reeeeeeeee. I have truly & deeply earned a Relax. 🍻 Cheers.

It must be the season for headphone accidents @PrlxTeam Last night in my haste to scan some documents, I 'corded' myself and managed to destroy my daily use headphones. Thankfully, there's a backup that came with my employee kit. 🎧😎

Up early. Slop the creatures as the sun rises. Hit the button on the normality machine for some sweet brewed goodness. It’s reading & research time. When everything is settled out - I’m going to swap reading Trust/Estate Law & Mortgages for Rhino, Python & C#. Way more fun. 🫶☕️

Happy Halloween. A throwback to the jack-o-lantern I modeled last year. ☕️

Warm fall morning. The creature offerings are set. Now for a little morning meditation & reading the coffee beans for a glimpse of the future. I guess peace of mind & closure is something that requires an argument or several. 🧘‍♂️🫶☕️

I was assaulted this morning. In a hail of pigeon feathers, I was detained in the garage for a moment, plotting my escape. Involved coughing - they aren’t very imposing. I understand their instincts, but I wish people didn’t do that too. ☕️

In other news... being a digital packrat is about to meet its NEED. The intent was to develop a database of content & tools, so the knowledge silo comes down and all the "rules" are identified & illustrated. Reduce errors, reduce stress, reduce friction & spread knowledge. ☕️

Morning. As an architect I'm well versed in things going pear-shaped w/o warning - but at least there I know what the rules are. My original intent remains the same. Find out & honor what Dad wanted for his family. Seems simple enough, but it really isn't.

There are worse ways to close out an afternoon of playing lumberjack. Lots of cleanup to do.
