Almost all polar scientists think these ideas are economically and practically unfeasible, environmentally dangerous & have major governance &ethics issues! This 'curtain' would negatively impact ocean circulation, sea ice and ecosystems & is near impossible to instal and govern

Warm ocean currents are weakening the base of Antarctica’s Thwaites glacier, whose demise could raise sea levels by up to 7 feet. To protect the ice from warmer waters, scientists have put forward an audacious plan to erect a massive undersea barrier. e360.yale.edu/features/thwai…
