To project competence & warmth, be sure to promote others as well as yourself! A great review of research "I did with *great colleagues*" @EinavHart & @EricMVanEpps in the @wsj by @HeidiSMitchell wsj.com/articles/brag-…

I’ve followed this research for a long time and I’m so excited to see it in print! And yes, I have made myself pace in the hallway in the dark to keep my daily steps streak alive (and maybe more embarrassing activities than that to keep streaks going). Congrats!

Have you ever opened an app just to keep your streak alive? Or felt terrible when you forgot? My new paper with @alixb221 in @JCRnews examines how streaks – 3 or more behaviors in a row – influence consumer motivation and behavior. bit.ly/3ydZqVI 1/3

Why is high "exponential numeracy" (the ability to understand exponential growth) important, especially for folks working in public health and #epidemiology? A🧵1/6 @EricMVanEpps @ME_Schweitzer sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

On the second-to-last weekend before taxes are due, let’s remember: tax prep corporations like @TurboTax & @HRBlock have used deceptive tactics to wring money out of consumers’ wallets & used their fat profits to lobby Washington to make tax filing as hard as possible.

This is the college basketball take for me. My best friend and I were so enamored with Wright’s suits when we saw a Villanova tournament game in person 7 years ago that we forgot to watch the game for a while.

for the most part I am on board with the fact that basketball coaches can dress casual now but I can't believe Jay Wright no longer wears suits. look at what they took from us

Super cool to position animation as something that kids watch and adults have to endure

Arriola and Ferreira. Never would have guessed it, but they deserve it. Amazing.

Gio Reyna is so fun. It’s ridiculous

I know most won’t read past a headline but please read my veto letter—especially if you disagree with me. The veto will be overridden on Friday and then we will have a special session to fix a few things. Trans sports is a terribly difficult issue. Please be kind to everyone. 1/
