Visited Brampton East Pit this AM in hopes of seeing the Great Northern Diver. It spent lots of time under water, often reemerging distantly, but eventually I got great views from the path up the West side. Stunning bird; a year tick, my 2nd ever, and 1st inland! @CambsBirdClub

Singing Nightingale at Diddington, Cambridgeshire this morning; recorded from the track along the back of the Pumphouse Pits at around 6:30am. Had a clear view of the bird for about 15 minutes before it dipped down into the bush and out of sight @CambsBirdClub @BBCSpringwatch
